SPIN's mission is to support, encourage and educate single parents through challenges by providing them with resources to overcome barriers and continue to be great parents and role models to their children.  

 

SPIN is a non-profit, 501(c) (3) charitable, community orgainzation that was founded by Tabatha "Mata" Crawford in 2014.  As a single parent with 3 children, she recalls the challenges she faced and is lead to empower those in her community that face similar challenges.  She is passionate about suppporting, assisting, and empowering others to face and overcome their barriers of single parenting, through providing emotional, financial, and physical support  to address the needs of single parents, during their life's challenges .

SPIN was developed to support, encourage, assist and educate single parents in needed areas to increase their ability to build stronger families. SPIN understands that all parents face challenges which are magnified when one parent has to do it alone and is aware of how important it is to have the much needed support. SPIN strives to provide support the whole person/parent in order to increase the quality of life for single parents and their children. SPIN helps by addressing the physical needs of single parents and their families, connecting parents with community resources, and assisting them in obtaining gainful employment.  With SPIN's help, single parent's are able to becoming self-sufficient and strengthen their family.  SPIN's ultimate goal is to empower single parents in being great role models for tomorrow’s leaders despite the challenges they may face today.
